THE INSPIRING STORY BEHIND THE SYMBOL OF LIBERATION AND FIGHT -CHE GUEVERA

No comments :

Pherhaps no revolutionary is better known than Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara.

An innocent face with dreamy eyes and a hat with a star symbol on it. That is the ever-lasting image of the greatest rebel of the 20th century.

He was not born a revolutionary. He grew up in a middle-class family and lived an ordinary life until he died. No matter which corner of the world you go to, you will hear about Che Guevara. Not a lot of people however ‘know’ about him and even less know the facts that how he incranat loves leads to revolution. So, read on.

Born to an Argentine family, Che travelled extensively around  South and Central America and witnessed the plight of the lower classes

Deeply moved by the poverty, illiteracy and oppression, he realised there is a need for a revolution and resolved to fight for a better world.

It was in 1955, that he was introduced to Cuban revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro and joined his war against the Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista.

He helped Castro consolidate power and arranged for the USSR to position missiles within Cuba

After the overthrow of Batista, Guevara became the head of the National Bank as well as served as Minister of Industry.

when his policies began to cause rifts with other Cuban leaders, he decided to spread revolutions in other parts of the developing world in 1965.

During his tenure, he stressed the importance of literacy.
He set up schools and educational institutes in the rural areas. He emphasized the importance of education which helped the literacy rate rise from 60% to 96%. The illiterate masses were transformed into literate ones.

He visited China and the Soviet Union and he is in a way responsible for the Soviet-Cuban relationship.
He resigned from his governmental duties to resume his work as a revolutionary abroad.

He went on an official tour of Asia, Africa and Europe to establish diplomatic and trade relations with Cuba.

He visited Havana, celebrated his birthday in Madrid and then flew to Delhi via Cairo. Prime Minister Mr Jawaharlal Nehru welcomed Che Guevara in his Teen Murti residential office.

After an ill-fated stint in the Congo, he briefly returned to Cuba before making his way to Bolivia.
Fighting against the military government was his main goal. But the superior training of the Bolivian army and poor relations with local communists saw his suffering a string of defeats.

In 1967, he was surrounded and forced to surrender to the army and was executed the next day in Bolivia.

It was only in 1997 that the Guevara’s body was found, located near a Vallegrande airstrip. After confirmation report by the forensic anthropologist, his remains were laid to rest, with military honors, in a specially built mausoleum.

We see Che Guevara everywhere in India – on posters, shirts, tattoos and frames hanging in our bedroom because we crave for something that is ‘super cool’ (without even knowing it’s legacy).

But, the fact is, he is a symbol of liberation and fight all over the world.

Not only did he inspire thousands to rise against tyranny, but eve after 53years, his vision still continues to fight many a revolutionary.

Like Nelson Mandela said, ‘Che is an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom’.

BOUNCE BACK OF BENGAL FROM:STONE AGE TO INDEPENDENCE

No comments :

WHEN THE WHOLE WORLD IS FACING A PANDEMIC SITUATION BENGAL HAVE TO SUFFER FROM BOTH THE UNFAMILIAR CONDITION (SUPER CYCLONE&CORONA).BENGAL IS FACING THE COMBINATION OF DANGER AND UNCERTANITY BOTH,IN SUCH CONDITION THOUSAND OF QUESTION ARRIVES what we will do after that?how long it will last?how we can survive? BUT APART FROM  THIS ONE QUESTION ALWAYS KNOCK TO MY MIND IS THAT EVER BENGAL HAS FACE ANY UNEXPECTED CONDITION(not only pandemic or cyclone) .IF YES THEN HOW BENGAL AGAIN BOUNCE BACK TO IT,S NORMAL STITUATION.SO TO START THE JOURNEY OF HISTORY OF BENGAL PLEASE TIGHTEN YOUR SEAT BELT AND ENJOY THE NEVER ENDING BOUNCE BACK OF BENGAL FROM:”STONE AGE TO INDEPENDENCE OF BENGAL”
Ancient Bengal:
Bengal is a 4,000 year old civilization that thrived between the banks of Ganges to Brahmaputra and sustained itself with the riches of Gangetic Delta.
Remnants of earliest cities in the state date back to the Vedic Period. The oldest archaeological site in Bangladesh is Mahasthangarh, which dates back to 700 BCE. The culture and ethnicity of Bengal was different than that of the Vedic people. The latter referred to the people of Bengal as 'dasyus' or demons.
The Retreat of Alexander:

Greek traveler and chronicler Megasthenes referred to Bengal as Gangaridai in his book Indica (300 BC). When Alexander invaded India and defeated Porus, he wanted to conquer all of India and moved eastward where he came to know about the mighty forces of the Gangaridai warriors.
Alexander read accounts of Gangetic Delta written by Ptolemy and Diodorus. Greek historian Diodorus Siculus (90 BC -30 BC) depicted the Gangaridai warriors in this manner:
"The river is called the Ganges which had a width of thirty two stadia, and a greater depth than any other Indian river. Beyond this again were situated the dominions of the nation of the Prasioi and the Gandaridai, whose king, Xandrammes, had an army of 20,000 horses, 200,000 infantry, 2,000 chariots and 4,000 elephants trained and equipped for war.... Now this (Ganges) river, which is 30 stadia broad, flows from north to south, and empties its water into the ocean forming the eastern boundary of the Gandaridai, a nation which possesses the greatest number of elephants and the largest in size."
Arguably, it was the might of the Gangaridai warriors that made Alexander retreat of Bengal
Mention in Mahabharata:
The Mahabharata mentions Bengali kings Chitrasena and Sanudrasena, who were defeated by Pandav king Bhima. It also talks about a folklore that Bhima was injured by a poisoned arrow and he came to the southern most parts of Bengal, called Patratal, to heal. The southern most parts of Bengal indicates towards the mangrove lands of the Sundarbans.
In a significant development of events, a third century civilisation has been recently discovered beneath the surface of Gobardhanpur in Pathar Pratima Block, Sundarbans. The place has remnants of cauldrons and pots that would have been used to make herbal medicines.

Have you ever wondered why is it called the Bay of Bengal?
The answer is simple. The Bengal rulers have always paid attention to naval expansion. Trade links among Bengal, Java, Sumatra and Siam (now Thailand) can be traced even now.
Entrepot of the Silk Route:
Bengal has always been the gateway to the eastern parts of the Indian subcontinent. It is the shortest and easiest route from the Bay of Bengal to the Himalayas. Such a geographical advantage made Bengal a commercial hub that connected the sea to the famous Silk Route.
The Empires in Bengal:
1)Maurya Dynasty (324 BC - 185 BC)
2)Gauda Empire (590 CE - 626 CE)

3)Malla Dynasty

KALIPADA SINGHA THAKUR
What we know as Bankura, a western district in modern day West Bengal, was once known as Mallabhum, the land of the Mallas. The Malla kings ruled the western provinces of Bengal from the seventh century and their dynasty can be traced to this date. Their last king Kalipada Singha Thakur became the king of Mallabhum in 1930 and 'ruled' till his death in 1983

Do you know what is the rename of  SHASANKA’S KARNA SUVARNA??

Murshid Quli Khan alias Ala ud-Daulah was the last Mughal Subahdar of Bengal under the reign of Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah I.  Murshid took the throne as the Nawab of Bengal. He renamed the region of Shashanka's Karna Suvarna as Murshidabad.
The Maratha Invasion:
During the political turmoil after the death of Murshid Quli Khan in the 18th century, the Maratha Empire decided to invade Bengal. Led by Maratha Maharaja Raghuji of Nagpur, the Maratha force was able to capture parts of Odisha and Bengal but failed to get a hold of the entire province. The term 'Bargi', which refers to Maratha plunderers, is still a common term used in West Bengal (It's even used in a lullaby!)
খোকা ঘুমালো পাড়া জুড়ালো বর্গী এল দেশে
বুলবুলিতে ধান খেয়েছে খাজনা দেব কিসে?
khoka ghumalo, paṛa juṛalo, borgi (bargi) elo deshe
bulbulite dhan kheyechhe, khajna debo kiše?

Plassey and the British:

Being a gateway to India, a strong naval presence, a land full of riches and a weak ministerial cabinet -- to answer the question on how the British invaded India, one should fall back on these four factors.
The Battle of Plassey (June 1757), which allowed the British to consolidate their hold in Bengal as rulers, was only the curtain fall on a plot of a catastrophic betrayal.
Mirza Muhammad Sirajud-Daulah, who was the last independent Nawab of Bengal, gave the British a commercial licence to buy muslins and jute from Bengal. The British manipulated Siraj's ministers and bribed them to stand against the Nawab.
Siraj was betrayed by his trusted ally Mir Jafar and others ministers. He lost the Battle of Plassey and Bengal lost itself to the western colonisers.
The  last free king of  Bengal

British Bengal:
The Fort William in Calcutta (now Kolkata) was the first British stronghold in India. Although Siraj was able to capture it, after his death, the British rebuilt it and made it into a fortified, cannon-fitted military base.
After the fall of Mughal Empire, the focus of Indian culture and politics shifted from Delhi to Calcutta. The city gradually became the capital of the British India. It remained so until 1911.
Bengal Renaissance:
The Bengal Renaissance saw the rise of extraordinary personalities and visionaries from the Bengal province in the 19th and 20th century. Free thinking was encouraged among students, caste discrimination was condemned, and literature and science were seen as the agents of progress.
Raja Ram Mohan Roy, the 'Father of modern India', was the pioneer of the renaissance. Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Swami Vivekananda, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose, Satyendra Nath Bose, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and Rabindranath Tagore propelled the movement forward and made Bengal the face of progress and culture in India.

I belive we should Acknowledge the Situation. Sometimes people try to stay in denial when they face a tough situation
I BELIVE IT'S THE TIME TO  MAKE BOUNCE BACK OUR ETERNAL SOUL AND MAKE OUR ENVIORMENT POSITIVE AND STOP TO DENIAL THE PANIC STITUATION .IN THIS PANIC SITUATION WHERE PEOPLE GET UNCERTAINT HOW TO MADE OUR ENVIORMENT  GOOD I REMEMBER THE QUOTE OF SRI SRI THAKUR ANUKUL CHANDRA

OCEAN IS THE GLOBAL SOLUTION OF HUNGER PROBLEM

2 comments :
ALGAE
Hunger problem is one of the major problem that the global has to face more in the future .One in nine people suffer from chronic hunger, More than 1 billion people are undernourished, and 3.1 million children die every year due to hunger and malnutrition. Hunger affects poor both in present and over long terms. Children are especially vulnerable-malnutrition in the first two year of life can result in physical and cognitive damage that diminishes the future. Hunger doesn’t only cause malnutrition but also slow down the economy. Hunger impairs a person ability to a part of productive work force, and contribute to the

economy.

SEAWEED FOOD
So one of the major solution to hunger problem can be the bottom of the ocean. If we have to feed people in 2050 ,food from ocean have to play a major role. But meat and fish is not the way to solve this problem because 90% of the world fish stocks are already seriously depleted. Pollution and increasingly levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which makes in the ocean warmer and more acidic, are also significant threat of marine life. As a EU report that we need to harvest the small fish and shellfish for the purpose of our food ,but if we eat the small fish that can break the food chain due to which big fish have to starve. So the best solution can be we need to focus more  on the harvesting of seaweed and algae. Only 35 countries commercially harvest it today spirulina  and  cyanobacteria already eaten as food and other several companies are trying to turn other form of algae into a human source.

Algae doesn’t only use as food supplement but it also help to counter some of the effect of climate change, growing more seaweed lower the amount of CO2 in the surrounding water, reduce acidification and improve the enviorment for the oyster and shellfish. EXPANDING OUR SEAFOOD  MENUS COULD BE VITAL WAY TO KEEPING THE OCEAN HEALTHY WHILE IT’S SUPPLY THE FOOD WE NEED

Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra

6 comments :
sri sri thakur anukul chandra
"if you have gained such power that you can move the sun and moon from the courses or  break the earth into pieces or make all people wealthy, but if you have no LOVE in your heart, you have achieved  nothing....As long as you feel pain in your body and mind keep trying to remove the pain of an ant too"
This was told by none but THAKUR ANUKULCHANDRA who was born in Himayetpur village of pabna district of undivided Bengal of British India in 1888.
His father Shivchandra Chakrovorty was know for his honesty ,sincerity and novel heart.
Anukulchandra's mother Manmohini Devi was having a majestic personality whose motherly love was not only for  her own children but showered love unconditionally upon  all the villagers.

Monmohini devi name her son "ANUKUL" after a poem composed by herself only-a name that will shine beyond geographical and mortal boundaries to enlighten the heart of millions.

With growing age anukul chandra become naughty and sometime unmanageable!.But his love for his mother was incomparable. The little boy was always ready to walk any length to make his mother happy.

Right from his childhood ,Anukulchandra was having a strong scientific mindset. He would not accept anything that would fail to show a logical ground to it.In school one day mathematics teacher ask him the simplest of arithmetic problem -what will be the result if we add '1'and '1'?But this simple question confused anukulchandra a lot.He answer it would be two "1" but definitely not 2.His logic being -in this world no two things are exactly same .There is little difference even between two leaves of same tree.Hence, when no two things are identical how addition is possible???

One day on his back from his school while it was raining heavily. Anukulchnadra noticed that an old blind man had fallen into a deep ditch by side of the village road!Water was flowing over the blind man as he was struggling to survive and was crying for help from Almighty....but his voice was gradually dying away .Anukulchandra rushed to spot and lifted him up on own shoulder and took to a near by home for nursing,The old man got a new life. There are numerous such kind of example performed by thakur through out his life.Even thakur can't appear for 10th standard examination as he gave his money to a fellow friend who was struggling to gather money for the same.

After school life ,Anukulchnadra took admission in 'National Medical School' at kolkata where he studied medical with great financial difficulties. Finally,he return to native land and start practicing medical .Very soon,he earned tremendous respect as a doctor among the villagers and surroundings.

While practicing medicines ,Anukulchandra realized that illness is not only in human body but heavily exist in human mind .With Love and empathy, anukulchandra transform the lives of those who were otherwise unwanted and neglected in the society.People had began regarding Anukulchandra as their philosopher and guide.

Thakur Anukulchandra started spreading his ideology of "being and becoming" which means  "existence and enhancement" of life.Thousand of people accept him as living guide or Guru.

Simultaneously Thakur start giving message mainly in Bengali and English language and later hundred of books were published out of those message ,which is around  20,000 in prose and verse. His message encompass a wide range of affair like politics ,sceince ,education,
spirituality,society,literature,conjugal life,law ,administration and many more .

In 1946 thakur relocated to Deoghar from Pabna due to health problem and other reasons ;continuing with similar establishment for the welfare of mankind. Thakur  believe that death is a curable disease and conceptualize the idea of a machine called " Vibrometer" which he believed infuse life into the body of a dead person.

At different point of time ,people from different fields came to pabna and deoghar satsang Ashram and interact with thakur on various aspects .Among them were MAHATMA GANDHI ,NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE, DESHBONDU CHITTARANGAN DAS ,DR RAJENDRA PRASHAD  ,SHYAMAPRASHAD MUKHERJEE ,SCEINTIST  SATYENDRANATH BOSE,  STATISTICIAN PRASHANTHA MAHALNOBIS, LITREATURE SARAT CHANDRA CHATTERJEE,  BIPIN CHANDRA PAL, FAZUL HAQUE, P.C SARKAR ,
LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI.

Many of them accepted thakur anukulchandra as their living guide.

Thakur anukul chandra wanted that every person should have an ideal or guide in his or her life an we must love and follow the ideal for the betterment of life .We must live and help other to live.Simultaneously, each of us must meditate the holyname in proper way to attain supreme
consciousness within us which is final goal of human life.

THAKUR Anukulchandra breath his last at the age of 81 in 1969 at Deoghar. His Mortal life ended but Thakur continues to live in heart of millions illuminated with his ignition touch .His contribution to betterment of life and his teaching on the art of living will always be treasure by his numerous followers.
